Tiny Aya

Tiny Aya is a family of five 3.35B-parameter multilingual text models from Cohere Labs, Cohere's research arm, released on 17 February 2026 as open weights for non-commercial use; the four instruction-tuned models are also on the Cohere API. Next to a base and a global model, three versions focus on regional languages, and Cohere designed them to run locally, including on phones. [1] [2] [3] Primary source
