Command is the first model in Cohere's Command line: a text-only language model released in beta on 8 November 2022, which Cohere conditioned to respond well to single-statement commands. It was offered on the Cohere API, Amazon Bedrock and Oracle OCI with a 4k-token context, received weekly nightly builds from January 2023 and was deprecated on 15 September 2025.
