Command A+ is Cohere's first mixture-of-experts model, with 218B total and 25B active parameters, released on 20 May 2026 as open weights under Apache 2.0 and through the Cohere API. Cohere calls it the last model in the Command A family and says it combines image input, reasoning, translation and agentic capabilities in one model covering 48 languages.
